This is a great location, second time at a Waffle House and compare to the first one this exceeded expectations. Waitress was super friendly and attentive. I guess they get a lot of regulars because everyone that came in after my family and I, the employees knew them by name. No surprise again their customer service Skills are one Great. And the food was nice and HOT!

3.5 stars, rounded up. Waffle House: love them or hate them. I'm the former. I love breakfast. I mean, I LOVE breakfast. Any time of day. I also love diners, even chain ones that I forever associate with college and a night out of hard drinking. Oh, the experiences and memories!

This one, like many, has been around forever. I stopped in here for a solo meal while out running errands on this side of town. My go-tos at Waffle House are the Philly cheesesteak omelet, the fiesta omelet, and the steak (t-bone) and eggs. Can't go wrong with these, especially for the price point. Occasionally, I'll get a burger or a patty melt. Nothing special here, just some decent and filling food at a good price, made right in front of you. You don't have to worry you're being served liquid eggs in your omelet here, when you watch them crack the eggs right in front of you. If you come late at night, the entertainment alone is worth a star bump, in my opinion.

This one was clean by Waffle House and greasy spoon standards. The staff was super friendly and efficient. My Philly cheesesteak omelet plus jalapeños was made perfect for me and just the way I like it. It was also cheap and quick, which is what I needed while on my mission of errands. I wouldn't hesitate to stop back in for some breakfast and entertainment.

Finding ourself in rush hour traffic and knocking out a couple of obligations, we opted to eat dinner out before heading home. The youngest asked for a burger and we thought we'd take him to a greasy spoon.

While only 1 table was full, a couple of folks were standing at the counter waiting for to go orders. Only one person was cooking, and another was serving, so it took awhile to order and get our food. But, at this point, we weren't in a rush and the employees were working hard.

Sadly we couldn't get biscuits and gravy because they were out of gravy. They also ran out of a specific sized burger so we had to adjust that request after ordering, but we at least got what we wanted!

The waffle was decent but for $4, not very big. It smelled so good coming off the waffle iron, like a cookie. The cheeseburger was decent too. Waffle House doesn't serve fries so we got an order of hash browns. I recommend asking for them to be crispy. Mine were plain but they serve them with toppings.

My husband also got a bowl of grits with an egg and sausage. It was only $3 on the value menu and was a full bowl (if you like grits). In fact, several items are available on the value menu. Kids meals range from $3-4, but drinks are an additional dollar.

Not a bad spot for a little bit of greasy food and divey diner experience. For a Waffle House, this location was well lit and seemed cleaner. Any dirty dishes on the table were excusable because of the lack of a 3rd employee to help. If you're eating late, this is a good stand by after most places shut down.

My family and I had a terrible experience at the Waffle House on Taylorsville road so we ended up going to this Waffle House instead. What we received was EXCELLENT service and equally excellent food! Our waitress was named Mary and she seemed to be having a hard time but handled it very well! She made us feel welcome and treated us like family. We'd love to come back just to see her!

It's Waffle House. The food is what it is...greasy spoon diner food. I got was I asked for quickly.

The reason for the low star score is that I sat at the bar and watched as one of the waitresses help the line cook prep food. She didn't have a hairnet on and apparently never has heat of gloves. Prepped food handled by her bare hands was bad. When I watched her pick up a couple of chocolate chips (?) and pop them in her mouth then go right back to working I was done.

This place is the same as the rest of them. Just avoid it if Cathy is working!
